Tim Hampton – Director
Tim joined York University in 1994 in the Faculty of Arts, then moved to the Atkinson Faculty of Liberal and Professional Studies in 1999. He joined the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design in 2002. His education includes a Bachelor of Engineering (Carleton), project management training (Schulich), Lotus and Novell certifications.
Kevin Haghighat – Computer Technician
A member of York University community since 1994, Kevin joined the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design in 2011. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and he is a Microsoft Certified Professional (2003). While pursuing a Masters of Science in Information Systems, Kevin maintains his status as a part-time professor at Seneca College’s Faculty of Continuing Education.
Lillian Heinson – Instructional Technology Coordinator
Lilli joined AMPD Computing in 2010. Lilli provides AMPD faculty members with assistance with Moodle setup and media production.
Michael Shen – Senior Technician
A York staff member since 1999, Michael came to the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design in 2001. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and holds Sun Microsystems certifications in Unix and Java, as well as AS/400 and AIX certifications from IBM.
Brett Thompson – Web Developer
A Web Developer with 8 years expertise, Brett fuses his unique combination of design and production skills with his training in web development to build and implement successful websites. With a solid understanding of what’s possible online, Brett is uniquely placed to guide AMPD toward practical and viable web strategies. A York staff member since 2008, Brett joined AMPD in 2015.
